It's always nice to be recognized for outstanding care, and the hospitals of Meridian Health have received their share of awards.
So have our nurses. In fact, the hospitals of Meridian Health are the first in the region to have received the prestigious Magnet award for nursing excellence three times. The Magnet award is bestowed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the nation's largest and foremost nursing accrediting and credentialing organization.
Our awards and recognition are often measured as part of Jersey Shore University Medical Center, who has been designated by J.D. Power and Associates as a Distinguished Hospital for Inpatient Services (2006) and received the New Jersey Governor's Award for Performance Excellence (2005).
