Elaine Donoghue, MD, completed her term as AAP Chairperson of the Section on Early Education and Child Care.  During her term the group grew from a special interest group to a provisional section to being recognized as a full section of the AAP.  Group membership is almost 300 and is active in many states.  As Past Chair, Dr. Donoghue will continue to serve on the Executive Committee and will serve as the head of the Steering Committee for a Healthy Futures grant through McNeil Pharmaceuticals.
