Evidence Based Medicine
Our Pediatric Residency program will include a formal three-year curriculum in evidence-based medicine (EBM).
The EBM teaching will be integrated into the established educational and clinical activities. The EBM presentation is an academic project required to be conducted by each third-year resident and will be formally presented to the residents and faculty. The faculty mentor (Dr. Anna Petrova who received formal education in research, epidemiology and biostatistics) will assist the resident during the preparation for the EBM presentation. The formal EBM presentation will be conducted after the Pediatric Business Meeting so that all faculty and community pediatricians can attend.
