Meridian Health Recognized As “Outstanding Employer” By New Jersey Business & Industry Association

Nation’s largest statewide employer association honors Meridian Health at Awards for Excellence Dinner  

Neptune, NJ -  Meridian Health, which is comprised of Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, and Meridian Partner Companies, was recently named Outstanding Employer by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association at their annual Awards for Excellence Dinner.

The event honors a select group of companies whose energy and vision have resulted in exceptional achievements in four award categories: Environmental Quality, Business Expansion, Outstanding Employer, and Public Service. This is the second time Meridian has received the Outstanding Employer Award.

“Supporting the career development goals of our team members is a top priority at Meridian Health,” says John Sindoni, SPHR, senior vice president of Human Resources at Meridian Health. “From leadership fundamentals workshops, to toolkits for creative problem solving, we strive to provide a variety of useful programs to ensure our team members have the tools they need to get their job done effectively.”

Meridian Health was selected based on the success of its internal corporate university, Team Meridian University, where both team member and leadership development programs are offered to support training and development needs. A Human Resources initiative, Team Meridian University was started in 2006 and is supported by certified instructors, as well as external training partners who support the growth of team members.
