Meridian Health Recognized As “Best Place To Work” For Fifth Consecutive Year

Neptune, NJ -  Meridian Health, which is comprised of Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, and Meridian Partner Companies, was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ Magazine. The annual ranking is determined by an evaluation of an organization’s policies, benefits, and practices, as well as an extensive survey of its employees on their perception of the workplace. This is the fifth consecutive year Meridian Health has been recognized as a Best Place to Work.

The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program is open to all publicly or privately held organizations and both for-profits and not-for-profits, provided the facility has more than 25 employees. The ranking’s top 55 are divided into two categories based on the number of employees. Meridian was ranked 16th among the large company category (250 employees or more), moving up two places from last year’s position.

“At Meridian Health, we believe our exceptional team members are what make us a workplace of choice,” says John Sindoni, SPHR, senior vice president of Human Resources at Meridian Health. “In this tough economy, we feel it’s more important than ever to maintain a positive work environment. And so, we stand behind our ‘Best Workplace, Best Team, Best Care’ approach, which ensures our team members have a great place to work so that they can provide the best health care experience to our patients and guests.”

Meridian Health is a family of not-for-profit health care organizations comprising Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital in Neptune, Ocean Medical Center in Brick, Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, and Meridian Partner Companies that include home health services, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, ambulatory care, ambulance services, and occupational health centers located throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.
