2010 Runway On The River Raises Significant Funds For Children's Hospital

Successful fashion show fund raiser benefits K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital  

Neptune, NJ - The Meridian Health Affiliated Foundation Runway on the River fund raising fashion show was held on May 22, at the K. Hovnanian Enterprises Building in Red Bank. With over 180 guests in attendance, this fashionably chic affair raised nearly $100,000 for K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. This year’s event was chaired by Larson Whelan of Little Silver and co-chaired by Sorca Gill of Wall, with Lucy Kalian of Rumson, Maureen Lloyd of Oceanport, Anita Roselle of Long Branch, and Beth Stavola of Red Bank serving as honorary co-chairs.

Ernabel Demillo formerly of “Good Day New York’’ on Fox 5 hosted this event, along with her husband John Muller, lead Anchor of “PIX Morning News’’ on Channel 11. Also in attendance was local celebrity model, Farley Boyle and celebrity designer Aysha Saeed who showcased some of her 2010 fall fashions on the runway.

Funds raised at this year’s event went towards supporting continued improvements in the newly renovated pediatric inpatient unit and care for the children of our area.
