Epilepsy & Neurology
About Our Epilepsy & Neurology Services
When one thinks of neurological conditions in children, epilepsy quickly comes to mind. That's probably because there are more than 2.5 million Americans living with epilepsy today.
The truth is there are a number of neurological conditions which impact children – everything from headache and migraine disorders through movement disorders. In each instance, it's vital that a partnership is formed with your neurologist to help you and your child learn to manage the condition.
That's where we come in. Our specialists work closely with families to help them improve the quality of life for their child and manage their neurological condition. We also provide a specialty program for children with epilepsy through our Epilepsy Center. The Center provides comprehensive evaluations and testing, with such technologies as video electroencephalogram (EEG).
Our staff specialists are available to consult on a variety of neurological problems, such as:
- Developmental delays
- Epilepsy
- Headaches and migraines
- Motor impairment
- Movement disorders
- School-related difficulties
- Tourrette Syndrome
