About our Pediatric Emergency Department
Until you're in an emergency situation, you probably don't realize that not every hospital offers specialized pediatric care in the Emergency Department.
At K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital, your child will be met by experienced and highly trained pediatricians and pediatric nurses. We offer a separate triage room for pediatric patients, as well as their own waiting area. This helps us quickly determine their needs and get them into the Emergency Department for treatment with minimal waiting time.
We're also looking forward to our new, dedicated pediatric emergency department which is slated to open in July 2009!
