Junior Ambassadors generosity makes a difference for our patients  

The Junior Ambassador Committee of
K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital hosted their first ever fundraising project last year, called Spare Change to Make Change. In their first year, Junior Ambassadors placed coin collection containers at locations throughout the two counties, collecting more than $3,200! The money raised was used to purchase high chairs, strollers, gliders, and bouncies for the pediatric patients at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital.  

This energetic group of children and teenagers rounded out their busy first year by enthusiastically collecting 115 pairs of new pajamas for young patients and participating in more than a dozen events in support of the children's hospital including a fall health fair. annual holiday party, and the grand opening of the Northwest Pavilion. A big thank you to Kathy Weiland and Karen O'Hare, the parent leaders of the group.
